I had another innocuous waking dream the other night. It was one of those nights where something woke me up, but I couldn't pinpoint what. I remember scanning our dark bedroom, and looking over to my boyfriend's side of the bed to see him standing at the foot. We have all lights blocked, so it was hard to see any detail, but for some reason I knew it was him. But a second later, I realized he's sleeping next to me and that cannot be him. I blinked, and the silhouette was gone; I stared at the dark ceiling and watched the fan rotate, thinking....why am I awake right now? It was another instance where I was sure I was awake and this really happened, but then I snap out of it and question...was I awake?
At least it's not sleep paralysis.
